Get to Know Us

The Talbot Street Art Fair has brought years of art to the historical Herron-Morton neighborhood located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. This annual, summer fair brings together gallerists, collectors, art professionals, and art lovers of all ages, and gives them the opportunity to engage in conversation, build community relationships, purchase art, and get inspired by our talented regional & national artists.

Putting together such a well-loved event wouldn't be possible without the dedication and hard work of our committee and the Herron-Morton Neighborhood Association. We're proud to introduce this year's team that strives to make the 2025 fair just as memorable.

Gayle Herrli

Vice President

While working as a Home Care Hospice Nurse, I began working in clay in 1985. It allowed me self-expression of joy and gratitude, a celebration of life. I am primarily self-taught but have taken several workshops to develop my skills.

Since I work independently in my studio I enjoy interacting with people at art fairs and exhibitions. I feel very successful when a child comes into my booth and belly laughs while playing in the fountains. Working as an artist with Artmix of Indiana allows me to combine my art and past nursing career by volunteering teaching clay at Peyton Manning’s Children’s Hospital.

It is a gift to be able to make a living doing something I truly enjoy on all levels.

Talbot + Herron-Morton

It takes a village, or in our case a whole neighborhood to run such a reputable fair. Talbot and the Herron-Morton neighborhood have a symbiotic relationship; one couldn't function without the other. We partner together in all aspects of planning and preparation to make sure no detail goes unnoticed. We strive to bring our guests the finest art, entertainment, refreshments

and family fun.

We're proud to work hand-in-hand with these two principal liaisons.
